Ever since the “Coming Soon” signs had been put up just east of the CN Tower for the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Kurtis and I had been waiting impatiently for it to finally open. The Aquarium officially opened on October 16th, but we resisted the urge to go so that we could share the experience with Kurtis’ Mom, Dad, sister and our 2 year old nephew on their upcoming visit to Toronto. The line-ups at the Aquarium on the last two weekends in October were crazy – by some reports people had waited 2.5 hours in line. We opted to go early afternoon on Friday, November 1, which I think was a smart move.
The building does not look very big from the outside but the displays of underwater life seems almost endless! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will definitely be going back.
